The organiser of SIGMA Winter Wonderland contest is Solus d.o.o., Hrvatskoselska 1, 10250 Zagreb-Lučko, Croatia (hereinafter: Solus d.o.o.). Its intention is to promote SIGMA products and the artistic excellence of its users.
The rules of the contest are as follows:
- In order to be eligible to participate, the contestants must post their image or images to Instagram social network or SIGMA Inspiration Facebook group available via this link, with the corresponding hashtag in the description: #sigmawinterwonderland. In order to be eligible for participation, the image posted must also receive at least 100 likes on Instagram or 50 likes within the SIGMA Inspiration Facebook group within the duration of this contest. After their post receives the required number of likes, the contestants must submit their photo with metadata and a link to the post to the winter.wonderland@sigma-foto.hr email address to participate in this contest.
- The contestants may participate in the contest by posting an image taken with either a SIGMA camera or a SIGMA lens (subject to verification) and sending it to the email address stated in the article #1 of these propositions, between Tuesday (1 December 2020) at 00:00 hours and Sunday (10 January 2021) at 23:59 hrs CET. In order to be eligible for participation, the image posted must also receive the required number of likes (as stated in the article #1 of these propositions) and within this timeframe to qualify for the contest.
- The authors are encouraged to state the camera and lens used to take the photo within their social media posts.
- The contestants may post more than one image within the aforementioned timeframe, but no more than one image per day. The contestants must also not include more than one image in each post.
- The images must not contain any additional text, watermarks or other graphics.
- The contestants must be over 18 and have permanent residence in one of the following countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia. The employees of Solus d.o.o. and their family members are not eligible to participate.
- The contestants agree that these images may be used or shared by Solus d.o.o. on Facebook, Instagram, websites and other channels of communication for promotional and other purposes, with author attribution within or next to the image.
- A jury comprised of Solus experts, associates and photographers will evaluate the images which have the necessary qualifications and decide which photos win the selected SIGMA Winter Wonderland prizes. They might also list other successful contestants who deserved an honourable mention.
- The first prize is SIGMA fp camera body and a SIGMA Ambassador Contract. The second prize and the third prize will be awarded in kind and announced before the end of the contest.
- The prize winners will be announced by 20th January 2021, primarily and officially on sigma-foto.hr website in Croatian language, and in SIGMA Inspiration Facebook group in English. However, additional announcements may be posted to: sigma-foto.si and sigma-foto.rs websites, on SIGMA Adria Facebook page and on SIGMA Adria Instagram profile.
- Any objections or complaints to the results of this contest should be sent to info@solus.com.hr email address, titled “Complaint to SIGMA Winter Wonderland contest” by 25th January 2021 (within five days after the publication of results).
- Although Solus d.o.o. will cover the shipping cost to countries listed in item 6. of these Rules, it still holds the right to charge shipping cost in case the contestant wants the item to be delivered to another country or depending on the current epidemiological, health and/or economic situation within one or more of these countries.
